Nicknamed the knuckle ball princess in her home of Japan, eighteen-year-old Eri Yoshida became the first woman to play professionally against men in two countries.（故国日本でナックル姫と呼ばれていた18歳のエリヨシダさんは、日米両国でプロとして野球をする初めての女性となりました。）
Her teammates tried to make her relax because she looked really, she looked really nervous before. （初めはとても緊張していたので、チームメートは彼女をリラックスさせようと懸命でした。）

Her coach, a former Major Leaguer, said at first he was skeptical that the whole thing was just a publicity stunt. But now he says he and her teammates are believers.
