快挙です！ Brilliant ! 小学４年生の男の子二人がそろって英検４級に合格しました。Two of the 4th graders at my school have passed the Grade 4 Eiken Test. ４級って、意外にむずかしいです。Grade 4 is not so easy to pass as you might think it is. 中学生でも不合格になる子がたくさんいます。There are many who fail even among the junior high students. ５級に受かっても４級でつまづく子も多くいます。Many do a good job at Grade 5 and fail to take one step further. その理由は過去形や未来形が新たに加わり、おまけに助動詞が加わって複雑になるからです。(because the sentences become more complex with the past and future tense joined by auxiliaries.)
